About the author: I am a curious economist working in Institutional Research, an obscure little field most people stumble upon, like I did. We are the folks who conduct research for a university, about the university. This website is mainly an outlet, an idea that I had started on a few years ago, but got distracted from when life put other things on my plate. The blog will mostly involve posts discussing economics and policy issues and other things from my mundane life. I spend an inordinate amount of time reading and thinking, but don’t often finish my thought or write it down.
